We're brand passionistas. We get really excited about innovative, boutique, good quality products. Which is why we want to pay a tribute to our suppliers. Without them, we wouldn't have such great gifts to offer you.

We will be selling individual gifts and gorgeous gift wrap in the near future so you'll soon be able to buy the full range of the following products at Boxed Cherry.

Nudo Olive Oil

nudo-oil

We searched for a long time to find the perfect olive oil that we would be happy to put in our hampers. (We're fussy that way.) Happy was the day when we discovered Nudo Olive Oil. First there's the packaging. Not only is it fresh and funky, it breaks the mould of traditional olive oil packaging. The product itself is superb too. Nudo olive oil comes from an olive grove in the Italian Apennines where the olives are hand-picked and pressed within a few hours of being picked. We're addicted to their olive oil stone ground with real lemons, sold as part of the Good Vibrations hamper. Currently only for sale in Selfridges, we are sure Nudo is destined for great things.

You can adopt a tree in one of their groves and receive olive oil the whole year round. Soon we'll be offering these vouchers here but in the meantime, find out more about it at: www.nudo-italia.com

Yum. YUMMY. Hmmm. Give us a another one. (The reaction from a friend who tested a Lemon Melt)

The Island Bakery is a family business on the Isle of Mull (A small island off the coast of Scotland.) We're loving their fun packaging and cheeky highland cow! And of course their delicious range of biscuits. Made with the best, organic flour and loads of butter, you cannot find a better quality biscuit south of the North Pole. The owners say they've put on weight. We believe them. Visit them at www.islandbakery.co.uk

veuve-clicquot

Veuve Clicquot

Veuve Clicquot champagne needs no introduction. Its bright orange label is one of the world's most recognised champagne brands. We decided on Veuve because a) we believe it is the best champagne in the world and b) because we're suckers for a romantic story. Known as the Grand Dame of Champagne, Widow Clicquot's husband died when she was only 27. Unlike other madames of her status, she took an active interest in the estate. Her hands-on approach revolutionised the champagne industry with important technical innovations such as riddling which produced champagne that was clear. (Before this all Champagne was cloudy). She was also an astute, resolute businesswoman. Legend is that she sent a secret shipment of Champagne to Russia in 1814 in defiance of Napolean's blockade.

rococo-chocolates rococo-chocolate-van

It started in 1983 with an art student, a love affair with real chocolate and a small boutique in London's Kings Road. Today Rococo chocolates are found in any food shop worth its salt, including Waitrose. Made from organic, single-estate beans with a high percentage of cocoa solids (50% for dark chocolate and 35% for milk chocolate) and without any horrid added vegetable fats, Rococo chocolate is sinfully delicious. We love the exquisite (and sometimes surprising) combinations of flavours. And we love the packaging inspired by illustrations of the 1800s. Although we currently only sell three of their products as part of our hampers, we hope to have a wide available soon. In the meantime, have a look at their website: www.rococochocolates.com
